There was new progress in the construction of Jingmen-Jingzhou Railway. On November 11, the reporter learned from the Project Department of Bid Section 1 of Jingmen-Jingzhou Railway under China Railway 11 Bureau Group that the first box girder for Bid Section 1 of Jingmen-Jingzhou Railway was cast successfully at Tuanlin Beam Fabricating Yard in Hechang Village, Tuanlinpu Town, Duodao District, Jingmen, marking the entry of the yard into the production stage.

According to Jiao Huanle, head of the yard, the yard is responsible for prefabricating 657 box girders for Bid Section 1 of Jingmen-Jingzhou Railway. Since the fabrication started in late June 2021, all work has been advanced in an orderly manner. The fabrication is scheduled to be completed in December 2022.

With a full length of 24.5 kilometers, Bid Section 1 of Jingmen-Jingzhou Railway starts from Jingmen West Railway Station, and stretches over nodes such as Jiaozuo-Liuzhou Railway, AVIC Boulevard, Zhanghe Main Canal, Provincial Highway S311 and Shanghai-Chengdu Highway.
